Pa’s Underground Adventures

On Thursday 21 March 2024, we said goodbye to an incredible father who lost his battle with Light Chain Multiple Myeloma. Multiple Myeloma originates from plasma cells in the bone marrow and is a form of blood cancer. Currently incurable.

Dad was a devoted family man, cherished deeply by his wife, children, and grandchildren. A master builder, who built Tasmania's renowned, 'underground house' in the 1980s.

In tribute to his enduring love for his grandchildren, and reciprocally, their deep adoration for him, I wrote "Pa's Underground Adventures."

Join Tess, Luca, Arlo, Sonny, and Louie on their unforgettable adventures with Pa in the Underground house.

From riding the digger to feeding the chooks, cheering for their favourite teams to exploring the underground house, every moment is filled with laughter and love.

But as time passes, Pa's days grow shorter, and his grandchildren learn to cope with grief and cherish the memories they've shared.

With heartfelt storytelling and illustrations (based on true stories), Pa's Underground Adventures is a touching tale of family, love, and the power of cherished memories.
